The samples and instruments we're presenting here were recorded during spring ’20 in Reykjavík, using a DIY circuit bent toy keyboard - the Monster KeyToy - that featured two added pitch&glitch potentiometers controls and an additional feedback circuit activated by a piezo microphone, placed on an energy drink can glued on one of the keyboard’s speakers.

The folder “Madness” contains 90 normalized WAV 16bit samples chopped from different impro sessions (you can listen and download a selection of them here on Bandcamp), each using an instrument preset on the keyboard with varying potentiometers positions.

The folder “Instruments” (you can find it downloading the zip file through the Dropbox link in the ReadMe file that you get downloading/buying this album) reveals a Live Pack containing 7 Live instruments, in the form of Sampler presets, each realized from one keyboard preset with fixed potentiometers controls and then assembled in Live. Most of them present a distinctive pitch rise on the final part of each note’s tail, effect of the circuit bending.
